FOR VENUES

The Night Your Crowd Won't Shut Up About

We bring a full live band, sound, lights, screens, and tech. Your audience picks the songs and sings on stage. You sell more drinks than a DJ night, get tagged in more posts than a cover band, and have people asking when we're coming back before we've finished loading out.

Why Venues Book Us

Longer stays

People wait for their turn, watch friends sing, then sign up again. One-drink visits become three-hour stays.

Higher tabs

Liquid courage is real. The queue is back-loaded, so the bar stays busy late.

Free social media

Every singer has friends filming. Those videos tag your venue and hit Instagram within minutes.

Destination night

Most people have never tried live band karaoke. The first bar in town to do it owns it.

Seen Live Band Karaoke Before? We're Different.

Most "live band karaoke" isn't what you think it is. Here's what sets us apart.

No "Muppet Karaoke"

Most LBK acts run karaoke software and play instruments over it. We play everything live — no backing tracks. That means we can improvise, speed up, slow down, repeat a chorus, or stop on a dime. A backing track can't.

Not a cover band side gig

This is all we do. Original keys (not transposed for our vocalist), equal male/female songs, and 7 years of purpose-built show flow. No awkward gaps, no paper clipboards.

Custom tech stack

Our guitarist built the software. QR signup, real-time queue with zero dead air, synced lyrics, auto-updating sheet music, music videos on the big screen. Other bands have none of this.

Bad singers don't scare people off

Backup vocalists carry weak performers. The band adapts in real time. Music videos and QR signage make it obvious this is karaoke, not a bad concert. Walk-ins get it immediately.

What a Venue Owner Sees

From the Riverhounds to neighborhood bars — here's what the people who book us say.

"Lead Singer Wanted brings the kind of energy that gets 5,000 people on their feet. They're easy to work with and can handle any theme night you throw at them — a perfect fit for any crowd looking for a great time."

Kris Brown
Director of Promotions & Entertainment, Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC

Show Formats

We adapt to your room, your crowd, and your goals.

Standard Show

Open queue, all genres, high energy. The crowd picks songs, takes the stage, and the night builds to the Entire Crowd Singalong where everyone gets on stage for one final song. This is our bread and butter — works at any venue, any capacity.

Themed Nights

Events built around a concept — decade nights (all 80s, all 90s), genre battles (rock vs. pop), holiday specials, or custom themes you design. "Divorced Dads vs. Cigarette Moms" was a real one. Themes give people permission to go bigger, and they do.

Championships

A multi-week competitive bracket. Singers compete in rounds, audiences vote, the field narrows, and two finalists face off. This format is built to fill your venue for 4-6 consecutive weeks — contestants bring their fans, and the stakes bring everyone back. Learn more about Championships.

Intimate / Seated

Pacing designed for dining rooms, listening rooms, and upscale venues. Lower volume floor, hosted transitions, and a more concert-style flow. Same live band experience, calibrated for rooms where the vibe is more refined than rowdy.

What We Bring

We're fully self-contained. You provide a stage area and power — we bring everything else.

The Production

  • Full live band — guitar, bass, drums, vocals
  • Professional PA system + microphones
  • Stage lighting package
  • Video projection with music videos
  • On-screen lyrics for singers
  • Proprietary QR code signup system

Can also plug into your in-house PA if you prefer.

What We Need From You

  • Stage or performance area (we adapt to any size)
  • Standard power — 120V outlets within 100 ft
  • Load-in access 90 minutes before showtime

That's it.

Stage Plot

Our standard footprint. We adapt to your space — this is the ideal layout, not a hard requirement.

Lead Singer Wanted stage plot diagram — electronic drums center rear, guitar stage left, bass stage right, each with DI box and effects, music monitors rear corners, vocal monitors front center, karaoke singers and backup singer front of stage

Minimum stage footprint: approximately 12' wide x 8' deep. We can compress for tight stages or expand for larger ones.
