What is Live Band Karaoke?
Traditional karaoke, but with a real band and a real crowd.
Simple version
You pick a song from our list. When it's your turn, you jump on stage and sing with a live band. We put the lyrics on screens and our vocalists can help with harmony/backups if you want.
- All live music — no backing tracks, no karaoke software. Other bands run instruments over a pre-recorded track. We don't.
- Original keys — singers expect the real version.

What is live band karaoke?
It's karaoke with a real band instead of a backing track. You pick a song from our list, and when it's your turn you get on stage and sing while we play behind you. Lyrics scroll on a screen in front of you, and our vocalists can back you up with harmony if you want. Every song is played completely live — no pre-recorded tracks.
Do I need to be a good singer?
Not even a little. This is about having fun, not auditioning. Our backup vocalists are on stage to help if you want them, we give you clear count-ins and cues, and the crowd is always on your side. If you miss a line or come in late, we keep it moving and make you look good.
Can more than one person sing at a time?
Absolutely. Duets and group numbers are some of the best moments of the night. We have multiple mics on stage, and every show ends with the Entire Crowd Singalong where the whole room gets up for one final song together.
How much does it cost to book Lead Singer Wanted?
Packages for private events (bachelorette parties, birthdays, weddings, corporate) start at $1,000 for the Pittsburgh area. Rates for venue and festival bookings vary by date, location, set length, and production needs. Send a booking request and we'll respond with a custom quote.
How do I book a show?
Send a booking request through the form on our website or email band@leadsingerwanted.com with your event date, venue or location, expected crowd size, and desired show length. We'll respond with availability and a quote. For venue bookers and event planners, our Electronic Press Kit has testimonials, tech specs, and a promo video.
What do you need from the venue?
We bring everything — band, sound system, lighting, video screens, and our signup tech. All we need from you is a performance area and standard power (120V outlets). We adapt to any space, from a 50-person taproom to a 5,000-seat stadium.
